张氏文字画之研究
The Study of Chang’s Text Painting
摘要: 文字画乃指通过画面以表达画者思想意图之图画,具有辅助记事和社会交际作用之文字类型。而本文所探讨之张氏文字画乃张宽裕博士所创,其文字画具有二大特征:一是画由文字所组成,亦即文字是构成图案之基素;二为文字对象之意涵代表原图案对象。是以,张氏文字画能告诉吾人对象之形状与对象之名称。另外,张氏文字画之创作模式,大致可分为写实画、装饰画及转译画三类。其中转译画亦可分成三类别:一为抽象画转译成张氏文字画,二为印象写实画转译成张氏文字画,三为摄影写实画转译成张氏文字画。写实画是指利用张氏象形文字,根据主观感受而描绘出富含诗意的审美性字画。装饰画是指书绘在日常生活用品中的张氏象形文字画。转译画则是将世上各种类别图画、字画及摄影写实画……等转译成张氏文字画。最后,在探讨完了张氏文字画之解译、核心基础及文字画之道后,祈盼有兴趣者能依循自身喜好去发展文字画,达成推广张氏文字画之目标。
Abstract: Text painting means that the artist’s thoughts and intentions can be expressed by using the picture. And it also has a function of auxiliary notes and social communication. In this article, the text painting created by Dr. Koan-Yuh Chang (named Chang’s text painting) is discussed. His text painting has two major characteristics: One is that the painting is composed of words, that is, the words are the basis of the pattern; the other is that the meaning of the text represents the original pattern. Therefore, Chang’s text painting can tell us the shape of the pattern and the name of the pattern. Furthermore, the creative mode of Chang’s text painting can be roughly divided into three categories: Realistic painting, decorative painting and translation painting. The translation painting can also be divided into three types: one is the translation of abstract painting into Chang's text painting, the second is the translation of impressionistic painting into Chang’s text painting, and the third is the translation of photographic realism painting into Chang’s text painting. Using Chang’s pictograph, realistic painting can depict poetic aesthetic calligraphy and painting based on subjective feelings. Decorative painting means drawing in daily necessities by using the method of Chang’s Pictograph. Translation painting is the translation of various types of pictures, calligraphy and painting, photorealistic painting and, etc. into Chang’s text painting. Finally, after discussing the interpretation, core foundation and the way of the text painting of Chang’s text painting, I hope that those who are interested in text painting can develop the text painting according to their own preferences and achieve the goal of promoting Chang’s text painting.
