Abstract: The ecological environment in the mining area is harsh and fragile, the climate is dry, the vegetation growth is not good, and even a single inch of grass is difficult to grow in some areas. However, biological soil crusts can be widely distributed, especially in areas with harsh environments. By screening the types of crusts with super-enrichment potential that are suitable for mining area restoration, active and effective treatment and protection measures are adopted to promote the engineering application of biological soil crust restoration, which plays an important role in alleviating the ecological environmental problems caused by heavy metal pollution in mining areas.
