Abstract: Cordycepin is the main bioactive component unique to Cordyceps. Studies have shown that cordycepin has a variety of physiological and pharmacological effects, such as regulating immunity, antiviral, antioxidant, hypolipidemic, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-bacterial and promoting steroid hormone secretion. This paper reviews the research progress of cordycepin on improving reproduction and mechanism in male animals.
