Abstract: Chronic pain has become one of the most common health problems in the world, and there are at least 100 million chronic pain patients in China. In addition to the physical manifestation of chronic pain patients with long-term pain hypersensitivity, they are often accompanied by cognitive disorders, which are mainly manifested as attention bias to pain information and interpretation of ambiguous information and retention and recall bias of the negative information. In recent years, many studies have explored the relationship between chronic pain and attention bias or interpretation bias, but there is a lack of systematic review on pain-related memory bias. Based on this, this article will review the theoretical model, physiological basis and the factors that affect the memory bias of chronic pain patients.
