从乔治•斯坦纳阐释学视角看徐志摩译《老虎》

A Study on the Chinese Translation of The Tyger from the Perspective of George Steiner’s Hermeneutics Translation Theory

摘要: 《老虎》是英国浪漫主义诗人威廉•布莱克的代表作品之一。本文将以乔治•斯坦纳在阐释学的基础上提出来的翻译四步骤为理论指导研究威廉•布莱克的《老虎》徐志摩译本，并采用文献分析法和比较分析法探析译者在翻译过程中是如何通过信赖、侵入、吸收和补偿四个步骤实现原文与译文、西方文化与中国文化和译者与读者之间的平衡以促进威廉•布莱克诗歌汉译研究的发展和帮助中国读者更好地理解西方诗歌。

Abstract: The Tyger is one of the representative works of the British romantic poet William Blake. This paper will study the translation of William Blake’s The Tyger by Xu Zhimo based on the four steps of translation proposed by George Steiner on the basis of hermeneutics, and through the method of literature analysis and comparative analysis to analyze how to achieve the balance between the original text and the translation, the western culture and the Chinese culture, and the translator and the reader through the four steps of trust, aggression, incorporation and compensation to promote the development of William Blake’s poetry translation research and help Chinese readers better Understand western poetry.
