竖屏网络剧的创作策略与叙事特征探析
Content Strategy and Narrative Features of the Vertical Screen Online Dramas
摘要: 大众对智能手机的依赖不仅激发了竖屏短视频的盛行,也促使竖屏网络剧走向流行。传统的电影与电视剧以横屏画幅为主有助于展现宏大的视觉场景与复杂的人物关系,人们习惯以窥视的目光去接受文本。竖屏网络剧的出现不仅消解了观看的仪式性,同时也重塑了影像呈现故事的手法。竖屏网络剧在叙事上致力于快感的营造,人物塑造趋于扁平化,以满足受众碎片化观影的需要。竖屏网络剧诞生于智能手机,也意味着其具备良好的互动基因。除了便于进行二次创作等参与形式,竖屏互动剧的诞生真正让受众在移动终端上在不同的情节点进行实时选择以导向不同的结局。竖屏网络剧的盛行,证明了影视与受众的地位已经逐渐平等。
Abstract:
The public’s reliance on smartphones has not only inspired the prevalence of vertical screen short videos, but has also contributed to the popularity of vertical screen online dramas. Traditional films and dramas, with their predominantly horizontal format, help to present grand visual scenes and complex character relationships, and people are used to receiving texts with a voyeuristic gaze. The emergence of vertical screen web series not only dissolves the ritual of viewing, but also reshapes the way images present stories. Vertical screen web series are dedicated to the creation of a sense of pleasure in the narrative, and characterisation tends to be flattened to meet the needs of audiences. The fact that vertical screen web series are born on smart phones also means that they have a good interactive foundation. In addition to facilitating secondary creation and other forms of participation, the creation of vertical screen interactive dramas truly allows audiences to make real-time choices at different plot points on their mobile devices to guide them to different endings. The prevalence of vertical screen web series is proof that film and television are becoming equal to their audiences.
