中美航运企业英文网站的语言特征研究:词汇密度和词频

摘要: 本文以中国航运企业英文网站企业简介环节为研究对象,本文利用语料库工具antconc, 将我国航运企业相关数据从词汇密度和词频两方面,与美国航运企业网站企业简介文本相关数据进行对比,借以研究中国公司英文网站的跨文化适应程度。研究结果表明,中美航运企业的英文网站词汇密度差异较小,但是用词方面存在一定差异。本文试图从语言学的角度和研究方法来为“走出去”公司的商务交流效能提供有益尝试。
Abstract: This article takes the corporate profile of the English website of Chinese shipping companies as the research object. With the help of the corpus analysis software antconc, from the perspectives of vocabulary density and word frequency, it compares with the relevant data of the corporate profile text of the US shipping company website to explore the level of cross-cultural adaptation at Chinese corporate English website. The results show that the differences in the lexical density between the English websites of Chinese and American shipping enterprises are relatively small, but there are certain differences in terms of high word frequency. The study is a useful attempt to adopt linguistic research perspectives and research methods to explore the effectiveness of “going global” corporate business communication across-disciplines.
