Abstract: The prevalence of allergic diseases is increasing year by year. Many studies have shown that envi-ronment and lifestyle, such as diet, infection, microbiome, pollutants, exercise and immunization, may affect the occurrence and development of diseases. A number of studies have shown that poly-unsaturated fatty acids affect allergic diseases in many aspects, but the mechanism of action re-mains unclear. The dose and duration of intervention also need to be further explored. This article reviews the research progress on the effect of polyunsaturated fatty acid intake on allergic diseases.
