Abstract: For the training mode of applied statistics talents in local colleges and universities under the background of big data, this paper analyzes the present situation of training, explores the impor-tance, studies the reform content and puts forward the improvement measures. The research in this paper has certain reference value for improving the quality of high-quality talents of applied statistics in local universities.
