Abstract: With the advancement of medical technology, patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) have prolonged survival and brain metastases (BM) have become an important therapeutic obstacle for them. Tumor metastasis is a multistep process, and a better understanding of the pathogenesis of disease metastasis will help us determine the appropriate treatment strategy to avoid brain me-tastases, which is extremely important for patient prognosis. In this paper, we present a review of recent findings on the biology and molecular studies of brain metastasis in non-small cell lung can-cer.
