The Better-than-Average Effect
摘要: 优于平均值效应是指人们倾向于认为自己的能力、人格特质等优于同龄人的平均水平。本文阐述了优于平均值效应的定义,简要描述了该效应的研究方法和心理机制的相关理论。最后探讨了对该效应现有研究的局限以及对未来研究方向的展望。
Abstract: The better-than-average effect refers to the tendency for people to think their abilities and personality traits are better than average for their peers. This paper describes the definition of the better-than-average effect and briefly describes the research methods and psychological mechanism of the effect. Finally, the limitations of existing research on this effect and the prospects for future research are discussed.
