Research Progress on Self-Driven Sensing System of Triboelectric Nanogenerators
Abstract: Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) can collect the mechanical energy of the surrounding environment and human body, and convert it into electricity through friction and electrostatic induction, which is one of the effective ways to solve the fossil energy crisis and develop green energy. Nanomaterials are considered as a new and effective conductive filler to improve the electrical output performance of TENG because of their ultra-high specific surface area, excellent stability, low-cost, and high conductivity. In addition, based on triboelectric nanogenerators, self-driving multifunctional sensors can be developed to detect external stimuli of human motion or environmental conditions.
