Abstract: The symptoms of schizophrenia are often complicated syndromes, which greatly interfere with all aspects of patients’ lives. Cognitive impairment is a typical symptom of schizophrenia, which involves a variety of cognitive function loss, organic damage and changes of neural structure. Executive ability, as the core of cognitive ability, has been studied by many scholars in many aspects, such as structure, neural basis, etc. The integrity of executive ability is of great significance to the evaluation of cognitive function. By comparing the long-term research on multiple sub-functions of cognitive executive ability of schizophrenia, this paper concludes that the functions of inhibition, executive speed, memory impairment, information integration and the corresponding nervous system of schizophrenia patients are different from those of normal people.
