Abstract: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has become one of the most common causes of liver dis-ease worldwide. Lifestyle and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is a form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and has been recognized as a major health burden. NAFLD is a multifactorial disease involving complex interactions among heredity, diet and lifestyle. The prevalence of NAFLD in-creased with obesity, sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy dietary patterns and metabolic syndrome. Therefore, early detection and management of NAFLD is the main pillar for the prevention of liver, extrahepatic and metabolic complications, and the change of lifestyle has become urgent in the management of NAFLD.
