Abstract: One of the causes of medieval Arabic philosophy was the assimilation and transformation of Greek philosophy in a specific context. In terms of rationalism, Aristotle’s ideas had a particularly pro-found influence on Arab philosophers. This article will be divided into three parts, which will in-troduce the background of the introduction of ancient Greek philosophy, the absorption and the transformation of Aristotelian rationalism by Arab philosophers. Through the exploration of this question, we will help you understand in what context ancient Greek philosophy was introduced to Arabia, and what Arab philosophers absorbed and transformed Aristotelian rationalism.
