Abstract: The regeneration and repair of large bone defects has always been an urgent problem to be solved in clinical practice. The complications caused by bone transplantation seriously limit the current treatment options. Therefore, to find a more suitable alternative therapy than bone transplantation has become a research hotspot. The appearance of 3D biological printing bone tissue engineering scaffold provides a new idea and direction for bone defect repair. By using different materials to obtain scaffolds with good mechanical properties and biocompatibility, it can promote the repair and induced regeneration of bone and soft tissue, thus meeting the complex needs of bone defect repair. This paper summarized the development of 3D biological printing technology and different kinds of 3D biological printing scaffolds in bone defect repair, and discussed the current challenges and future development prospects.
