Abstract: Cerebral artery dissection can lead to vascular wall dissection followed by vascular stenosis, oc-clusion or dissecting aneurysm resulting in cranial nerve compression. This paper reviews the congenital factors of cerebral artery dissection, the etiology and clinical characteristics of vascular diseases, and the characteristics and prognosis of different imaging methods such as nuclear magnetic and digital subtraction imaging.
