An Interpretation of the Word Meaning of Luzhou Dialect

摘要: 泸州市地处四川省西南部，其地理位置与其语言历史流变的特殊性，使得泸州方言较四川其他方言地区具有更多古代汉语残留痕迹。本文用泸州方言中的口语15例与古代汉语进行比较例释，对于研究泸州方言特殊性，保留其珍贵方言文化价值具有积极意义，同时可将古代汉语在现代方言中流变的现象做出一部分描述，为文字学、语言学等领域的研究提供参考语料。

Abstract: Luzhou City is located in the southwest of Sichuan Province. Due to its geographical location and the particularity of the historical evolution of its language, Luzhou dialect has more traces of an-cient Chinese than other dialect regions in Sichuan. The comparative interpretation of the spoken language in Luzhou dialect and ancient Chinese is of positive significance to the study of the particularity of Luzhou dialect and the preservation of its precious dialect cultural value. At the same time, it can give a partial description of the changes of ancient Chinese in modern dialects and improve modern people’s understanding of ancient Chinese culture.
