A Study on the Educational Value Orientation of Motherly Instruction in the Late Qing Dynasty

摘要: 晚清时期慈母家训对于家庭中孩子的成长起着至关重要的作用。分析晚清时期的慈母家训内容，主要包括做人准则、学习精神以及读书目的，以尚俭自立、通达革新、奉公报国为价值取向。在当今家庭教育中，仍应以“修身”为首要任务，培植与时俱进的学习意识，陶冶“心怀天下”的家国精神。

Abstract: The family instruction of loving mother played a vital role in the growth of children in the late Qing Dynasty. This paper analyzes the content of the family instruction of loving mother in the late Qing Dynasty, mainly including the code of conduct, the spirit of learning and the purpose of reading. In today’s child discipline, we should still take “Self-cultivation” as the primary task, cultivate a sense of learning with the times, and cultivate the national spirit of “Cherishing the world”.
