论列文森的儒学思想及其当代启示

On Levenson’s Confucianism and Contemporary Implications

摘要: 在列文森的儒学思想中，预设儒家文化在西方文化的冲击下将会走向终结，其认为儒家文化不具备现代化所必须的“专业精神”。本文在系统梳理列文森儒学思想的发展历程和观点基础上，结合新时代中国特色社会主义的宏观发展背景，指出列文森儒学思想的片面性和局限性，并进一步提出促进当代儒学发展的对策建议。

Abstract: In Levenson’s Confucianism, it is assumed that Confucian culture will come to an end under the impact of Western culture, and it is believed that Confucian culture does not possess the “professionalism” necessary for modernization. Based on a systematic review of the development of Levenson’s Confucianism and his views, this paper points out the one-sidedness and limitations of Levenson’s Confucianism in the context of the macro development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and further proposes countermeasures to promote the development of contemporary Confucianism.
