翻译美学视角下的绍兴景观介绍研究

Translation Studies on Introductions of Landscapes in Shaoxing from thePerspective of Translation and Aesthetics

摘要: 景观介绍的翻译是展示中国文化的重要窗口，对促进城市发展、提升游客体验有着重要影响。本研究通过对绍兴人文景观与自然景观翻译的实地采集与分析，探索现有绍兴景观介绍翻译在形式系统层面对翻译审美客体(TAO)的美感的再现及实现翻译审美理想和审美再现的策略。在审美再现上，绍兴人文景观介绍的翻译相对自然景观介绍的翻译而言总体更胜一筹。从翻译策略来看，译者在翻译时可以通过模仿、重建或改写从形式系统，如语音、文字、词语、句段等层面实现TAO的审美再现，使城市景观介绍的翻译兼具信息与审美功能，进而点亮城市名片，传播中国文化。

Abstract: As an essential showcase to display Chinese culture, the translation of landscape introductions has a considerable impact on promoting urban development and improving visitors’ experience. Through the collection and analysis of the existing English translations of cultural landscapes and natural landscapes in Shaoxing, this study explored the aesthetic representation of translation aesthetic objects (TAO) from the view of formal system and the strategies of achieving aesthetic ideal in translation. In terms of aesthetic representation, this study found that the translations of cultural landscapes in Shaoxing have the edge on the translations of natural landscapes in general. Translators could represent aesthetics of TAO in translation by imitation, reconstruction or rewriting at the level of formal system, including sound, character, word, and syntagma. In this way could the translation of landscape introductions integrate informative function with aesthetic function, thus lighting up the city card and promoting Chinese culture.
