基于英汉时空性思维差异的零形回指英译研究——以外交部发言为例

摘要: 文章将从英汉时空性思维差异出发，以外交部发言为语料，从零形回指这一突显汉语强空间性思维的典型现象切入，探究在其英译过程中英语强时间性的凸显，进行英汉语言差异对比研究，用以佐证英汉时空性思维差异对零形回指英译的影响，并借此进一步阐明汉语的空间性特质与英语的时间性特质，为外交部发言中零形回指的英译提供一定的启发。
Abstract: Starting from the difference of spatiality and temporality between English and Chinese, this paper will analyze zero anaphora with strong spatiality in Chinese in foreign ministry statement to explore the strong temporality of its English translation, which could demonstrate that the difference of spatiality and temporality affects the English translation of zero anaphora. So, the study on zero anaphora could be beneficial to compare the difference between English and Chinese so as to explore the difference of spatiality and temporality between English and Chinese and enlighten the English translation of zero anaphora in foreign ministry statement.
