基于语料库的《呐喊》英译本译者风格对比研究

A Corpus-Based Comparative Study of Translators’ Style in English Translation of Na Han

摘要: 本文尝试采用语料库的研究方法，对《孔乙己》等四篇短篇小说进行研究，分别从词汇、句法和语篇三个层面分析蓝诗玲和杨宪益、戴乃迭两个版本的翻译风格，并结合译者时代背景、翻译标准和策略等方面进一步探究译者风格成因。分析结果表明，杨、戴译本短句多，口语特征明显，词汇难度也不大，更易读；蓝诗玲译本句法复杂度高，长句多，口语特征略微平缓，阅读难度稍大。通过对《呐喊》译者风格的研究，本文希望能促进《呐喊》的跨文化交流和传播，扩大鲁迅作品的知名度，为中国文化“走出去”出一份力。

Abstract: This paper attempts to use the corpus research method to study four short stories including Kong Yiji etc., to analyze the translation styles of Shiling Lan, Xianyi Yang and Naidi Dai respectively from the three aspects of lexical, syntactic and discourse, and further investigate the reasons of the translators’ style in relation to the translators’ backgrounds, translation standards and strategies. The results of the analysis present that Yang and Dai’s translation has more short sentences with obvious colloquial features and less difficult vocabulary, which makes it easier to read, while Shiling Lan’s translation has high syntactic complexity, more long sentences and less obvious colloquial features, which makes it slightly more difficult to read. Through the study of the translators’ style of Na Han, this paper hopes to promote the cross-cultural communication and dissemination of Na Han, expand the popularity of Xun Lu’s works, and contribute to the “going out” of Chinese culture.
