Correlation between OCT Biomarkers and Prognosis of Anti-VEGF Therapy in Patients with DME
Abstract: Diabetic macular edema (DME) is a serious threat to visual acuity worldwide. Anti-VEGF therapy is the current first-line treatment for DME, and some patients have poor response to this treatment. Some studies have found that some OCT biomarkers are associated with non-response to anti-VEGF therapy. In this paper, the pathogenesis of DME, the principle of anti-VEGF therapy and the correla-tion between OCT biomarkers and anti-VEGF therapy were described, and the OCT features of DME patients were analyzed to guide diagnosis and treatment.
