英语课堂教学中纠正错误的指导探析——以矛盾分析法为视角

摘要: 学习者在英语学习的过程中犯错误是必然的。在英语教学课堂这一情景下,教师是学生学习的主导者,对纠正学习者的错误肩负着主要的责任。教师应该根据学生使用英语时产生的错误以及当下的情景,快速地对学习者所犯错误的类型,原因,是否需要纠正,何时纠正,以何种方式纠正的一系列的问题做出恰当的判断及反应。然而,这纠正错误过程是复杂而又充满矛盾的。矛盾分析法能指导教师更加客观地介入错误纠正过程中。本文通过马克思矛盾分析法,按照错误发现与纠正的过程,系统地探析英语课堂教学中教师该如何纠正学生所犯的错误,旨在为英语教师恰当地纠正教学中学习者的错误提供一定的参考。
Abstract: It is inevitable that learners make errors in the process of learning English. In the ELT classroom situation, the teacher is the leader of students’ learning with the primary responsibility for correcting the learner’s errors. The teacher is expected to make a quick and appropriate response to the type of error the learner has made, the reasons for it, whether it needs to be corrected, when it needs to be corrected and how it needs to be corrected, according to the student’s use of English and the situation. However, the process of correcting errors is complex and fraught with contradictions. Contradiction analysis can guide teachers to engage in the process of error correction more objectively. This article uses Marxian contradiction analysis to systematically explore how teachers should correct the errors made by students in the English classroom according to the process of error detection and correction, with the aim of providing some reference for English teachers to appropriately correct the mistakes made by learners in teaching.
