Abstract: D-dimer is a protein clot formed after the cross-linked fibrin is dissolved by plasminase. Previous studies have shown that the level of D-dimer is related to the stage, metastasis and chemotherapy efficacy of malignant tumors. By comparing the level of D-dimer in ovarian cancer, gastric cancer and lung cancer, and comparing with the sensitivity of other biomarkers, it is concluded whether D-dimer detection has relevant clinical significance for the prognosis of malignant tumors. There-fore, the following review is made.
