Determination of the Critical Value of the Money Attitude Scale When Applied to College Students

摘要: 目的：判断金钱态度量表应用于高校大学生时的临界值。方法：使用一般人口学资料问卷和金钱态度量表评估了88位18~25岁大学生的相关指标。采用受试者工作特征曲线(ROC)和约登指数法判断金钱态度量表的临界值。结果：金钱态度量表临界值为61.5分，考虑到量表以整分计算，选取62分作为量表的最佳临界值。结论：建议研究者可依据大学生的金钱态度量表临界值为62分对大学生个体金钱态度的消极与否进行判断。

Abstract: Objective: To determine the critical value of the Money Attitude Scale when applied to college students. Methods: The general demographic information questionnaire and the Money Attitude Scale were used to assess relevant indicators in 88 college students aged 18 to 25 years. The re-ceiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) and the Youden index method were used to determine the critical values of the Money Attitude Scale. Results: The critical value of the Money Attitude Scale was 61.5, and considering that the scale is calculated as a whole score, 62 was selected as the best critical value for the scale. Conclusion: It is suggested that the researcher can judge the negativity of individual college students’ money attitudes based on the critical value of 62 points of the Money Attitude Scale.
