Abstract: The theory of Five Movements and Six Qi emphasizes the close correlation between human beings and the dynamic rhythm of heaven and earth, and has a deep connection with the basic theoretical framework of traditional Chinese medicine. Integrating the theory of syndrome differentiation and treatment based on three factors, comprehensively considering the qi of the time and region, distinguishing the physical constitution and the evil energy of the disease, guarding the pathogenesis of the disease, and using medicine with luck, often leads to unexpected victories in clinical applications. This article explores our teacher’s flexible application of the combination of the five movements and six qi, as well as the theory of adapting to local conditions, in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, in order to explore broader ideas for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eye diseases.
