“吃 + NP”结构的认知语义研究

摘要: “吃”是现代汉语中的一个高频动词，其后可以接多种语义角色的宾语NP，构成动宾搭配。动词“吃”除了原型义，还有多项拓展义，其后的“NP”不仅可以指食物，还可以指处所、工具、来源等，由此构成了许多非常规的“吃 + NP”结构。本文以隐喻和转喻为理论基础，对“吃”的各项语义的生成进行了系统分析，对“NP”充当的语义角色进行分类，表明承载不同意义的“吃”对宾语“NP”充当的语义角色产生影响，并将“吃 + NP”与“eat + NP”进行对比，以期对“吃 + NP”结构有更系统与深刻的认知。
Abstract: “Chi” is used with high frequency in modern Chinese, which can be followed by a variety of objects that play different semantic roles to form the verb-object collocation. Besides the prototype meaning, the verb “chi” is endowed with extended meanings, and the following “NP” can refer not only to food, but also to place, tool, source, etc. Hence, the unconventional structure of “chi + NP” is generated. On the basis of metaphor and metonymy, this thesis systematically analyzes the generation of various semantic meanings of “chi”, and classifies the semantic roles of “NP”, indicating that the “NP” is influenced by “chi” which with different meanings. In addition, this thesis makes a comparative analysis between “chi + NP” and “eat + NP”, so as to acquire a systematic and profound comprehension of “chi + NP”.
