A Feminist Stylistics Analysis of The Blind Assassin

摘要: 小说《盲刺客》是加拿大作家玛格丽特•阿特伍德的代表作之一，且极富女性主义色彩。女性主义文体学为该文本的研究提供了新视角，因此本文将从女性主义文体学的角度出发，从及物性选择、碎片化和隐喻这三方面分析阿特伍德的小说《盲刺客》，挖掘隐藏在小说文本中的性别歧视现象，即在男权制度下，女性备受压迫与束缚，处于弱势地位和被动状态。

Abstract: The Blind Assassin is one of the masterpieces of Canadian author Margaret Atwood with a strong feminist edge. As feminist stylistics provides a new perspective for the study of this text, this paper will analyse Atwood’s novel The Blind Assassin from the perspective of feminist stylistics, in terms of three aspects: transitivity choice, fragmentation and metaphor, in order to uncover the hidden phenomenon of gender discrimination in the text, i.e., women suffer from oppression and bondage under the patriarchal system, and are placed in a vulnerable and passive position.
