网络时代的女性称谓语探究——以“小姐姐”为例

A Study on Women’ Ap-pellations in the Age of the Internet—With the Example of “Little Lady”

摘要: 社会的发展变化催生了一批批网络称谓语。“小姐姐”作为对年轻女性的新兴称谓语已打破网络壁垒，进入真实生活中。本文以女性为特定研究群体，从历时角度探寻女性称谓语的演变规律，并以新兴称谓语“小姐姐”为研究对象，对其使用特点、语用功能及流行动因进行了探讨与分析。本文认为对年轻女性使用“小姐姐”这一称谓可起到拉近情感距离、体现社交礼貌、满足女性认知偏好、弥补称谓空缺等作用，且此称谓的流行是语言内因与社会、个人心理因素共同作用的结果。

Abstract: The development of society has given birth to a batch of network appellations. As an emerging appella-tion for young women, “Little Lady” has broken down online barriers and entered real life. Taking women as a specific research group, this paper explores the evolution of women’ appellations from the perspective of diachronic time and takes the new appellation “Little Lady” as the research object, discussing its usage characteristics, pragmatic functions and popularity motivations. This paper holds that the appellation of “Little Lady” for young women plays a role in narrowing the emotional distance, reflecting social politeness, satisfying women’s cognitive preference, and making up for the appellation vacancy. Moreover, its popularity is the result of the combined effect of linguistic factors and social and personal psychological factors.
