《望庐山瀑布》英译文的语篇功能分析
Textual Function of English Versions of the Poem Cataract on Mount Lu
摘要: 本文从系统功能语言学角度出发，以韩礼德的三大纯理功能之一的语篇功能为基础，对李白的《望庐山瀑布》一诗及三种英译文的主位结构与衔接手段进行分析，比较各译文的优劣，为古诗翻译领域提供新的视角，以此为译者提供可行化建议，解决翻译过程中存在的问题，提升译文质量，进而验证了系统功能语言学在诗歌分析方面的可操作性。
Abstract:
From the perspective of Systemic Functional Linguistics, based on the textual function of Halliday’s three metafunctions, this paper analyzes thematic structure and cohesion in Li Bai’s poem Cataract on Mount Lu and its three English versions. Consequently, this thesis compares advantages and disadvantages of three English versions, and provides a new perspective for the translation of ancient poetry, so as to provide feasible ideas for translators. It improves the quality of translation by solving the problems existing in the translation process, and then enriches the application of Systemic Function Theory in translation.
