Abstract: The FOX transcription factor family is involved in regulating cell differentiation, cell cycle control, embryonic development, metabolism and other related biological processes. Members of the family FOXK1 genes regulate a wide range of biological processes, participate in the progression of pros-tate cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer and other malignant tumors, and par-ticipate in tumor cell proliferation, survival, differentiation, inhibition of apoptosis, cell cycle trans-formation, DNA damage and antivirus. This review mainly summarizes the role and mechanism of FOXK1 in different malignant tumors, and provides a reference for targeted and accurate treatment of tumor patients and prediction of prognosis.
