新文科背景下概率论与数理统计课程案例教学法探究

摘要: 自从2020年教育部发布《新文科建设宣言》以来,全国各高等院校认真贯彻落实。概率论与数理统计课程作为人文社科专业的必修课也应该紧密联系新文科建设的需要,然而概率论与数理统计课程因其自身的“理科”属性,使得学生对其望而却步,缺乏学习兴趣,导致学习效果不佳,与“新文科”的初衷不符。本文通过运用案例教学法,列举本课程在人文社科专业的诸多应用实例以此来激发学生的学习兴趣,使得学生主动学习,提高学习效果。
Abstract: Since the Ministry of Education issued the “Declaration on the Construction of New Liberal Arts” in 2020, various higher education institutions across the country have conscientiously implemented this project. Probability theory and mathematical statistics, as compulsory courses for humanities and social sciences majors, should also be closely linked with the needs of the construction of new liberal arts. However, because of their own “science” attribute, probability theory and mathematical statistics make students flinch from them, and lack interest in learning, resulting in poor learning results, which is inconsistent with the original intention of “new liberal arts”. By using the case teaching method, this paper lists many examples of the application of this course in the humanities and social sciences to stimulate students’ interest in learning, enable students to active learning, and improve the learning effect.
