Abstract: Mechanical ventilation is an important method to maintain effective oxygenation in patients of clin-ical general anesthesia and critical care. Due to the increase in patients with mechanical ventilation, the incidence of ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI) also continues to increase, which can lead to acute respiratory distress syndrome. Cell junction plays a key role in VILI. This article reviews the research progress of cell junction changes in VILI.
