基于语料库的EFL学习者动词MAKE对比研究
Corpus-Based Comparative Study on EFL Learners’ Use of Verb MAKE
摘要: 本研究基于ETS语料库,从使用频数、类联接结构和名词搭配三个方面对中、法EFL学习者在动词MAKE上的使用情况进行对比分析。通过数据统计和分析发现,中、法学习者在使用动词MAKE时存在着一些共性与差异。两者都存在过度使用该动词的情况,并且在词形变化和语法结构上比较单一,而中国学习者的问题更为突出。在类联接结构方面,中、法学习者的使用习惯与本族语者类似,但是仍存在使用不当的情况。在名词搭配方面,中、法学习者都倾向于使用其虚化用法。
Abstract:
Based on the ETS corpus, this study makes a comparative analysis of Chinese and French EFL learners’ use of the verb MAKE from three aspects: frequency, colligation and noun collocation. Through data statistics and analysis, the study found that there are some similarities and differ-ences between Chinese and French learners. Both of them overuse this verb, and rarely use dif-ferent inflections and grammatical structures, especially Chinese learners. In terms of colligation, their usage habits are similar to those of native students, but there are still some cases of improper use. In terms of collocation, both of them prefer its delexical use.
