鄂尔多斯北缘6级地震发生特征及未来趋势研究

摘要: 文章结合1970年以来鄂尔多斯地块北缘的ML ≥ 4.0级地震活动的平静特征和该区域ML ≥ 4.0级地震平静打破后ML ≥ 3.0级地震分布特征，对1920年海原8 1/2级地震后鄂尔多斯地块周缘6级以上地震分布和鄂尔多斯地块北缘6级以上地震的时间分布和空间迁移等特征进行了研究，结果表明鄂尔多斯地块北缘未来有发生6级以上地震的可能性，且发生在鄂尔多斯地块北缘的西端的可能性较大。
Abstract: In this paper, the spatial distribution of earthquakes with MS ≥ 6.0 after Haiyuan 8 1/2 earthquake in 1920 around the Periphery of the Ordos Block and the time distribution and spatial migration of earthquakes with MS ≥ 6.0 in the Northern Margin of the Ordos Block were studied. Combined with the analysis of the quiet characteristics of earthquakes with ML ≥ 4.0 and the distribution characteristics of earthquakes with ML ≥ 3.0 after the break of the calm of earthquakes with ML ≥ 4.0 in the Northern Margin of the Ordos Block since 1970. The results show in the Northern Margin of the Ordos Block there is the possibility of an earthquake with MS ≥ 6.0 in the future. It is more likely to occur at the Western end of the Northern Margin of Ordos Block.
