“刀”的新义与新用
The New Meaning and Use of “Dao”
摘要: 近年来，“刀”在网络语境中衍生了诸多新义，并得以广泛运用。文章在对其5个新义梳理后发现，“刀”在作为兵器与工具的基础上，围绕[+削减]的语义核心，衍生出了用以表示“砍价”“淘汰”和“伤害”的新语义。在隐喻与转喻机制、求新求异心理和网络媒体的助推下，其语义衍生呈现指称意义的扩大、描述和评价意义凸显的特征。
Abstract:
In recent years, many new meanings of “knife” have been derived and widely used in online con-texts. After sorting out its five new meanings, the article finds that on the basis of “Dao” as a weapon and tool, around the semantic core of [+ cut], the new meanings of “haggling”, “elimination” and “in-jury” are derived. With the help of metaphor and metonymy, the psychology of seeking new and different things, and online media, the semantic derivation is characterized by the expansion of the denotative meaning and the accentuation of the descriptive and evaluative meaning.
