生态翻译学视角下动画电影的字幕翻译——以《青春变形记》为例

Subtitle Translation of Animated Films from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology—A Case Study of Turning Red

摘要: 电影作为文化传播的媒介之一，在跨文化交流中的重要性也日益凸显。而字幕翻译的质量也会影响影视作品的传播。在生态翻译学理论的指导下，本文以动画电影《青春变形记》为例，在了解电影主旨的基础上，从语言维、文化维、交际维三个层面来具体分析该影片的字幕翻译，并探讨生态翻译学的三维转换对字幕翻译的指导意义。经过案例分析，本文认为译者在进行字幕翻译时，应立足于整体生态环境，充分“适应”字幕原文和译文的生态环境，结合中西方语言和文化差异做出“选择”。本文的意义在于从语言、文化和交际三个维度探讨电影《青春变形记》中的例句转换，希望能够为动画电影字幕翻译提供一些借鉴。

Abstract: As one of the media of cultural communication, film plays an increasingly important role in cross-cultural communication. The quality of subtitle translation will also affect the transmission of film and television works. From the perspective of Eco-Translatology, this paper takes the animated film Turning Red as an example, aiming to analyze the subtitle translation of the film from the three aspects of linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension on the basis of understanding the main idea of the film, and discusses the guiding significance of three-dimensional transformation of ecological transliteration for subtitle translation. Through case analysis, this paper argues that translators should base on the overall ecological environment, fully “adapt” to the ecological environment of the original text and the target text, and make “choice” based on the differences between Chinese and Western languages and cultures. The significance of this paper lies in the discussion of the example sentence conversion in the film Turnig Red from the three dimensions of language, culture and communication, hoping provide some references for the translation of animated film subtitles.
