阐释学视角下的译者主体性——以《小王子》中译本为例
The Translator’s Subjectivity from the Perspective of Hermeneutics: A Case Study on the Chinese Version of The Little Prince
摘要: 翻译不能局限地定义为语言的转换。译者具有一定的主观能动性,是翻译活动的重要主体。在翻译儿童文学作品时,翻译过程中,译者的主观能动性无法避免,译者主体性甚至决定译作的好坏,因此译者主体性的发挥尤其重要。本文以李继宏和周克希的《小王子》两个中译本为例,在斯坦纳的阐释学翻译四步骤理论的指导下,运用具体实例分析儿童文学作品翻译中译者主体性的发挥。笔者给出了提高儿童文学作品翻译质量的建议,即译者要结合作品特点和目标受众,采取合适的翻译方法,总结其中运用的翻译策略,包括直译,意译,增译,减译等等,促进儿童文学翻译理论与实践的发展。
Abstract: Translation cannot be just be defined as the language conversion. The translator is an important subject of translation activities with certain subjective initiative. When translating works on children’s literature, the translator’s subjective initiative cannot be avoided when translating, and even determines the translation quality. This paper takes the two Chinese translations of The Little Prince by Li Jihong and Zhou Kexi as an example, then uses specific examples under the guidance of Steiner’s Four-Step Theory of Hermeneutics to analyze translator’s subjectivity in the translation on children’s literature works. Suggestions about how to improve translation quality is that translators should adopt appropriate translation methods in accordance with works and the target audience, summarize the translation strategies, including literal translation, free translation, addition, subtraction and so on, to promote the theory and practice of children’s literature.
