卡特福德翻译转换理论视角下技术合同的翻译研究

Translation Study of Technical Contract from the Perspective of Catford’s Translation Shifts Theory

摘要: 国际技术贸易是有效整合全球先进技术提高创新效率的重要途径，有助于我国降低自主研发成本和创新风险，为实现技术创新和产业跨越式发展做出重要贡献。技术贸易与合作离不开合同，国际技术贸易更离不开合同翻译，做好技术合同翻译是促进技术贸易顺利进行、确保技术贸易的合法性、保障交易双方权益的重要基础。本文在卡特福德翻译转换理论的指导下，运用其层次转换和范畴转换策略进行技术合同的翻译，并用实例分析该理论对技术合同翻译的指导意义，以期为技术合同的翻译研究提供一定的借鉴。

Abstract: international technology trade can effectively combine and utilize global advanced technologies to improve innovation efficiency, reducing the costs of independent research and development and innovation risk. Technology trade and cooperation are inseparable from contracts, and contract translation is an indispensable part for international technology trade. As a result, better translation of technology contracts is a vital basis for promoting technology trade, ensuring its legality and safeguarding the rights and interests of both parties. In this paper, under the guidance of Catford’s Translation Shifts Theory, the technical contracts is translated by applying its strategies of level shifts and category shifts, and the guiding significance of the theory for the translation of the contracts is analyzed with examples, aiming to provide reference for the translation of technical contracts.
