A Brief Analysis of Fromm’s Social Psychology Theory and Its Implications

摘要: 弗洛姆在马克思和弗洛伊德两位思想家的影响下，创造出了自己独特的社会心理学体系，对心理学的发展作出了突出贡献。社会性格和社会无意识理论无疑是其中最具代表性的创新，不仅与社会联系极为紧密，而且对在三观确定关键期的当代大学生来说具有深刻的启发。但同时也因脱离了历史唯物主义，具有浓厚的乌托邦色彩。因此在这个基础上，我们要辩证看待弗洛姆的社会心理学所做出的贡献与其本身的不足。

Abstract: Under the influence of two thinkers, Marx and Freud, Fromm created his own unique social psychology system and made outstanding contributions to the development of psychology. The theory of social personality and social unconsciousness is undoubtedly the most representative innovation among them, which is not only closely related to society, but also has profound inspiration for contemporary college students in the critical period of determining the three concepts. But at the same time, it also has a strong utopian color due to its detachment from historical materialism. Therefore, on this basis, we need to dialectically view the contributions made by Fromm’s social psychology and its own shortcomings.
