功能对等理论视域下石油化工文本的翻译研究
Research on Petrochemical Text Translation from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory
摘要: 在石油化工领域，翻译涉及到很多特定的专业术语和技术性语言，因此需要在保持原文信息准确性和完整性的基础上，兼顾目标语言读者的理解和接受度。本文以功能对等理论为基础，以石油化工领域文本为脚本，对功能对等理论在石油化工文本翻译中的应用进行了深入探讨，分析石油化工文本的翻译特点和技巧，具有实际意义。
Abstract:
In the field of petrochemicals, translation involves numerous specialized terminologies and tech-nical languages. Therefore, it is essential to take into account the accuracy and integrity of the source text while maintaining the acceptability of the target language readers. The paper focuses on translation of petrochemical texts from the perspective of functional equivalence theory, thoroughly exploring its application in this domain. The paper also analyzes the characteristics and techniques in translating petrochemical texts, which is of practical significance.
