Regression Analysis of Factors Influencing Human Visceral Fat Based on BMI
摘要: 体重指数(BMI)是目前全球常用的衡量身体胖瘦与健康的指标。本文收集了国内199名成年人的体检数据,运用相关分析、主成分回归、logistic回归和Lasso回归研究了身高、体重、腰臀比等12项指标与内脏脂肪含量(VAT)以及肥胖之间的关系,并使用中国标准的BMI作为肥胖程度的评价依据。基于主成分回归,对内脏脂肪含量有显著影响(ρ = 0.05)的因素有BMI、腰臀比、腹部矢状径以及矢状径与左右径之比。体重指数与内脏脂肪含量之间存在显著的正相关性(γ = 0.785),基于二分变量的logistic回归分析得到,对BMI有显著影响的因素有腰臀比、腹部左右径和内脏脂肪含量。体重指数的波动表明内脏脂肪含量可能产生变化,有可能影响身体健康,需要及时评估和干预;内脏脂肪含量的增减也可能导致BMI变动,分析表明内脏脂肪含量是判断一个人是否肥胖的更优指标。
Abstract: Body mass index (BMI) is currently a commonly used global measure of body weight and health situation. This article used correlation analysis, principal component regression, logistic regression, and Lasso regression to study the relationship between height, weight, waist-to-hip ratio, visceral adipose tissue (VAT), obesity, etc., totaling 12 indicators based on the physical examination data collected from 199 adults in China, under the Chinese standard BMI as the evaluation basis for obe-sity level. Based on principal component regression, the factors that have a significant impact (ρ = 0.05) on visceral adipose tissue include BMI, waist-hip ratio, abdominal sagittal diameter, and the ratio of sagittal diameter to right and left diameter. There is a significant positive correlation (γ = 0.785) between body mass index and visceral adipose tissue. Based on logistic regression with di-chotomous variables, the principal factors influencing body mass index were waist-hip ratio, ab-dominal right to left diameter, and visceral adipose tissue. The fluctuation of body mass index indi-cates that there may be changes in visceral adipose tissue, which may cause health risk and require timely evaluation and intervention; the increase or decrease in visceral adipose tissue may also lead to changes in BMI, and analysis shows that visceral adipose tissue is a better indicator to judge the obesity of a person.
