Abstract: International peace and security are the cornerstone of all development, and the principle of prohibiting the use of force is a fundamental principle in international law. The first chapter discusses the principle of prohibiting the use of force in a comprehensive and detailed way. The first section discusses the origin, development and final determination of the principle. The second section discusses the specific scope of application of the principle. Section three deals with the prohibited acts condemned by the principle; The second chapter mainly discusses the exceptions of the principle, including the action taken or authorized by the UN Security Council and the right of individual self-defense and the right of collective self-defense.
