Abstract: White matter hypertensity (WMH) is one of the most common imaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease, and more and more studies believe that WHM is closely related to the occurrence and development of cognitive dysfunction. This article reviews the relationship between WHM and cognitive function to further understand the effect of WHM on cognitive function.
