Abstract: This article aims to explore Karl Marx’s theory of labor happiness and elucidate its implications for university students. Through an analysis of Marx’s theory of labor happiness and a critical examina-tion of contemporary students’ perspectives on happiness, it clarifies the significant insights that Marx’s theory offers to university students. It emphasizes the importance of adopting a correct perspective on labor happiness. Studying Marx’s theory of labor happiness holds crucial significance in guiding China’s modernization efforts and shaping the happiness perspectives of university stu-dents. Drawing from and enhancing Marx’s theory of labor happiness, reinforcing the cultivation of labor consciousness and practical education, aiming to enhance happiness and promote self-realization, provides valuable insights to university students. This can contribute to increasing university students’ sense of happiness and propelling society towards a more progressive and prosperous direction.
