Abstract: As an important window to display the academic level of the university and promote the academic exchange, the journal of the university has played an irreplaceable role. However, with the development of the times, university journals are faced with some problems, which not only affect the quality and management level of the journals, but also limit the sustainable development and competitiveness of the journals. In order to better meet the needs of the development of the times, university journals need to change the concept of running a journal, strengthen the training and introduction of information technology talents, diversity ways to raise funds and resources, explore the operating mechanisms and optimize their business models. This paper will discuss these reform measures in detail in order to provide reference and inspiration for the further development of university journals.
