视域融合视角下《左传》最新译本中服装术语的英译方法研究

Translation Study of Clothing Terms in the Latest Co-Translation of Zuozhuan from the Perspective of Fusion of Horizons

摘要: 随着中国对外交流日益深入以及中国国际地位的日益提高，中国优秀文化也越来越受到国内外学者的关注，其中典籍作品是中国优秀文化的重要组成部分。《左传》是一部详细记述中国古代历史的编年史著作，对研究先秦文化具有重要的史学意义。本文以视域融合为切入点，分析《左传》最新译本中服装术语的英译，经分析发现，译者主要采用描述对等、功能对等和文化对等三种翻译方法，译文能够再现原文的内涵或功能或文化意义，能够实现视域融合。

Abstract: With the deepening of China’s foreign exchanges and the increasing of China’s international status, China’s excellent culture has attracted more and more attention from scholars at home and abroad, among which the classical works are an important part of China’s excellent culture. Zuozhuan is a chronicling of ancient Chinese history in detail, which is of great historical significance for the study of the pre-Qin culture. This paper will analyze the English translation of clothing terms in the latest co-translation of Zuozhuan from the perspective of fusion of horizons. Through analysis, it is found that translators mainly adopt three translation methods of descriptive equivalence, functional equivalence and cultural equivalence. The translation can reproduce the connotation or function or cultural significance of the original text and realize fusion of horizons.
