Abstract: Fabric reengineering is one of the important ways to explore sustainable development in today’s fashion industry. With the increase of environmental awareness and the depletion of resources, more and more designers have begun to focus on how to inject innovative and artistic elements into clothing design by reusing waste fabrics. Fabric reengineering is not only environmentally friendly, but also provides designers with more creative possibilities. Through an in-depth study of fabric reengineering, we can better understand the potential and impact of this innovative design approach and contribute to the sustainable development of the fashion industry. Therefore, this paper mainly explores the artistic expression of fabric reengineering in fashion design, and then provides reference for improving the effect of fashion design.
